This course is a multispecialty holistic initiative by the GSBS Medical Trust to provide evidence-based information to individuals diagnosed with PCOS. The aim is to guide them towards management and control of their condition, facilitated by experts and peers in a group approach. This is more of an education and handholding process for the individual so that she can bring about the sustainable behavioral changes that can keep the condition under control and the complications at bay.

Details
The validity of the package is for 6 months from the date of registration. During this time the participant must, at a time suitable to her, view the 6 pre-loaded videos of up to 60 minutes each, as many times as she wants. These are videos recorded by 6 experts from the GSBS Medical Trust namely Gynecologist, Endocrinologist, Dermatologist, Nutritionist, Physical Therapist and a Clinical Psychologist. They are all on the various facets of PCOS detailing its causes, problems and approach to resolve them at an induvial level by lifestyle and dietary changes. Ideally, she should do see all of them in the first month itself so that she is prepared for the live sessions that will be conducted over the next five months till the validity of the package.
10 group sessions lasting 40 minutes each will be conducted at a pre-specified time. The schedule of these sessions will be uploaded in the course, and shared by email. If you miss these sessions, you will have access to the recording of the same. Each session will be conducted by a doctor or expert from the GSBS Medical Trust.
Target Audience
- This package is meant for any woman who has been diagnosed with PCOS by any physician (either in the GSBS Trust or outside) based on clinical features and/or investigations like a pelvic ultrasound.
- However, there is no bar for any women to join the program if she desires information of PCOS or wishes to do so on behalf of a friend or relative who has the condition.
